
I would have been happier with more running the ball. We ran the ball, but we were not committed to it. It was a pass-first offense. We did run the ball more in the red zone, which was nice to see.
With our starting running backs and our starting QB, the ratio was as follows:

That’s about 50% balanced. And the runs are tilted heavily toward the red zone and later in the game.
Against a team like Navy, who we’re blowing off the line, and opening up huge holes for our backs, we should be running the ball more than that.
What exactly is it you think that I “want to see”? I see what the flow of the game shows me, and that was that we were having success running the ball, and consistently defaulted to the pass when the game was even halfway close.
